DAV College Bathinda
- Sandeep Singh participated in the 65th men’s free style wrestling championship held at Noida, and won the Gold medal.
- Gurjot Arora participated in the National Powerlifting Championship held at Gazipur from March 17, 2021 to March 21, 2021 and won the Gold medal.
- Jotika Kalsi of participated in the All India University Games (Hockey), at Chennai and won the Silver medal.
- Baljeet Kaur of this college is selected in the Junior Women’s Hockey team.
Sports (2019-20)
DAV College Bathinda Wins Four Gold Medals in Inter College Wrestling Championship of Punjabi University Patiala and Clinches Overall Second Position in the Inter College Wrestling Championship held at Patel Memorial National College, Rajpura, organised by Punjabi University Patiala from October 1 to 3, 2019. The gold medals have been won by Vikas Kumar in Greco Roman 57 kg weight, Kuldeep in 57 kg freestyle, Virender in 74 kg freestyle and Sandeep in 85 kg freestyle. In the medal tally, the college stood second in Punjabi University Patiala.
- Ajay Pratap of DAV College Bathinda Wins a Gold in Javelin throw at Punjabi University Patiala Inter College Athletic Meet 2019-20. He threw the javelin at 57.6 meter and grabbed a gold.

- Punjabi University Patiala Circle Style Inter College Kabbadi Tournament
- It was an exhilarating day for DAV College Bathinda, when Circle Style Inter College Kabbadi Tournament, being organized by Punjabi University Patiala was hosted by the college. The final boys kabbadi match was won by DAV College Bathinda against Akal Physical College Mastuana
- Rajwinder Kaur Selected in National Camp of Hockey
Her determination and perseverance made her selection among the top 24 Indian players.
- Punjabi University Patiala Inter College Chess Championship
DAV College Bathinda won overall third position in the boys and girls category respectively. This tournament was hosted by DAV College, Bathinda.
- Gold and Silver in Inter College Wrestling Tournament
Sandeep Singh and Varinder Singh of BA I won gold medals in 79 kg and 70 kg respectively and Sukhpreet (BA I) won a silver in 63 kg in Inter College Wrestling Tournament organised at Guru Gobind Singh College, Morinda. To add more feathers to their victory, these students were selected for Punjabi University team for Inter University Tournament, wherein the students secured third position.
- Gold in 5th Indo-Nepal Karate Championship 2018
Nilesh (B.A. II) fetched laurels to the college by winning a Gold in 5th Indo-Nepal Karate Championship 2018 organized by Shitoryu Karate Association Nepal held at TT Academy /Lainchaur Kathmandu.
- Silver and Bronze in Karate Inter College Championship
Nilesh and Rahul Sharma of BA II fetched laurels to the college in Karate. Nilesh won a silver in 67 kg weight category and Rahul Kumar Sharma won a Bronze in 75 kg weight category in the event. Inter College Championship held at Punjabi University, Patiala
- Bronze Medals in Bhutan International Open Karate Championship
Nilesh Kumar bagged two bronze medals in Bhutan International Open Karate Championship held at the capital of Bhutan, Thimpu. Players from Bhutan, Nepal, Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Mayanmar, Burma took part in this international tournament.
- Proud Recipient of Bharat Kumar Award
Sandeep Singh cleared six rounds of the 33rd Bharat Kesari Wrestling Competition, held at Gurudhar Mannahana, Hoshiarpur and was conferred with the Bharat Kumar Award. This competition was organised in association with Punjab Wrestling Association and witnessed the participation of International Wrestling Champions.
Hockey tournament (women)
Punjabi University Inter-College Hockey tournament (women) is being organized by DAV College, Bathinda in local hockey AstroTurf Bathinda from 07th January to 09th January, 2016. The tournament was inaugurated by Sh. Ram Singh Virk, General Secretary, Punjab Youth Congress. The guests on the occasion were Sh. Beant Singh Randhawa, Municipal Councilor, ward no. 19, Sh. Dev Raj Pakka, Ex. General Secretary, Punjab Congress Committee (Rural) and Sh. Hardeep Singh Tony (Advocate) President, Bathinda Sports Club. The representatives of the Punjabi University Patiala, retired Zonal Sports Officer Bathinda and Ms. Meenakshi, Hockey Coach, Punjabi University, Patiala were also present. The organizers of the event, Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Principal, Sh. Varesh Gupta,Vice Principal, DAV College Bathinda and Sh. P.D. Goyal, Chairman, Local Committee of the College blessed the participants of the tournament. The event was anchored by Prof. Manpreet Kaur. Prof. Mahesh Inder Singh welcomed the teams. Principal, Dr. Sanjeev Sharma thanked the participants, Team Managers, Coaches and the audience. He earnestly wished that the Players will scale new heights in the field of sports. The first match of the tournament was played between DAV College, Bathinda and S.D. College, Barnala. DAV College, Bathinda won the match by a huge margin of 21-0. The Chief Guest Sh. Ram Singh Virk donated Rs. 11,000/- to DAV College, Bathinda for the tournament and Sh. Beant Singh Randhawa (M.C.) honoured the winning team with the prize money of Rs. 1,100/-.and second winner team was given Rs. 500/- and Sh. Dev Raj Pakka awarded Rs. 500/- as blessing to remaining players.
