The institution established in 1969, is spread over 120 bighas and 8291 sq. yards covered area and 11,14,286 sq. yards uncovered area. Being located in the hub of the city, it is well connected to the railway station and bus stand. Every year more than 3000 students take admission in the college to pursue various UG and PG courses run by the college.
The college has adequate number of classrooms, labs, computers etc. to cater to the teaching and learning needs.Spacious playground and multipurpose hall for sports and cultural activities form a part of the physical facilities available in the college. Since the college believes in the holistic development of individuals, it has well established Physical Education Department, Youth Welfare Department, NSS and NCC unit.
